Scotland launches a smart phone application for government purchasing

The application, launched on 26 October, will work alongside Public Contract Scotland (PCS), the official purchasing portal. The Scottish government said it will provide companies with access to £9m worth of public sector business each year.

Latvia: access to online services via Mobile-ID

The holders of a Mobile-ID provided by a Latvian telecommunications company are now able to securely sign in to the national eGovernment portal ‘latvija.lv‘ and its online services simply by using their mobile phone.
