Urban community of Bordeaux calling for innovative projects

The urban community of Bordeaux has launched a call for innovative projects aiming to design, improve and optimise the public-services of tomorrow. The eligible applicants are all the people or organisations interested in digital technologies. The deadline for projects submissions is 15 September 2010.

The urban community of Bordeaux defines three different challenges:

• optimise the current public-services;
• promote and ease the exchanges of services, help and information between the citizens;
• invent new forms of public-services, responding to the demands of tomorrow’s society;

The urban community’s support will be a grant shared among the best projects. The two best projects will also benefit from a global coaching from IBM [disclosure: IBM is also a sponsor of the World e-Gov Forum].
