World e.gov Forum – Paris – October 12th and 13th 2011


On October 12th and 13th, 2011, World e.gov forum organized 48 hours of on-line conferences, for a real world tour from the best e.government experts and initiatives.

World e.gov forum is an exclusive space for the public decision-makers, the elected representatives, the private actors and the members of the non trading society who wish to exchange on the future of the e-administration and some e-democracy.
Finally, the prize-winners of the e-democracy and e-administration trophies were revealed during a ceremony which took place on October 13th to the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.

Steve Ressler is the Founder and President of GovLoop.com, the “Facebook for Government” which connects and fosters collaboration among over 26,500 members of the government community. On GovLoop, members use social media such as blogs, videos, and forums to discuss best practices and share ideas on improving government. Mr. Ressler has won the 2010 GovTech Top 25 Doers, Dreamers, and Drivers Award, the 2007 and 2009 Federal 100 Award, the 2009 AFCEA Bethesda Social Media Award, and was a finalist for the 2009 ACT/IAC Intergovernmental Solutions Award.
